How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been designing since middle school, one day someone decided to pay me for it. Eventually I received a bachelor's degree in advertising from the University of Houston. I have worked in event planning, management, executive management, and marketing management. All of my experiences have led me to understand what's necessary in design services.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Print Design (small - business cards, etc.) to (large - annual report, print marketing strategy for an entire event - online static ads)
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Just completed an online static ad campaign for my client Vanguard Natural Resources for the WallStreet Journal.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
look for someone that is easy to communicate with - someone flexible with their design efforts but not with their design style.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Customer Service is the key. Taking the time to understand your goal as a client is the most important part of the design service provided.
