Math with Nita

I have over 20 years of experience in teaching mathematics and statistics to students of all levels, including university. My experience really shows in the way I tutor my students as I have seen and mastered almost all types of problems and scenarios. I believe that my role as an educator is not only to inform but also to train students to think both independently and collaboratively and take the knowledge they gain in the classroom and apply it in their lives. I envision my classroom to be one where students actively participate in the learning process with lessons involving interactions not only with their teacher but also with each other. To train the next generation of mathematicians and statisticians, I believe that students must be taught to ask questions and properly employ the logical method to answer them. The engineers, technocrats, social scientists, philosophers and economists of tomorrow must also work in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments to solve real-world problems. Furthermore, priming students for any discipline requires knowing the basic concepts thoroughly with a strong emphasis on technical writing and presentation skills. I believe all of these principles must be employed to prepare the next generation of scientists for their personal careers and for their contributions to the world.
