I reached out to Alex on thumbtack after reviewing his profile and all the positive feedback he had from previous customers. I recently extended my fence door more towards the front of the house and wanted to make that area as a storage for trash cans and random backyard stuff but wasn’t quite sure where to begin and what to do. That’s where Alex came in and gave me few good ideas (concrete pad). In all honesty, I was really tied up with work and holidays etc but Alex stayed in touch with me and made arrangements to meet after hours. (He was more worried about this project then I was lol) Work was suppose to start on Saturday but his dad was at my house on Tuesday or Wednesday prepping the area for concrete. Everything is done now and that area looks amazing!!! Already got compliments from neighbors and wife is really happy also. I will highly recommend him to any one that is needing any concrete work done. Thank you Alex.

This was a great experience for us. AR Construction ripped out an old patio and replaced it with a bigger and much nicer one. They were extremely professional and were able to get the job done quickly and for a great value. They were easy to work with and while they had some of their machinery at my home they were happy to help me with a few other projects. I am happy with the quality of the concrete and the ease of the experience. They are a great family run company. I would highly recommend using them and won’t hesitate to use them again.

Very happy with my completed work, hired to put in some concrete landscaping pavers and sidewalk addition with pad for my trashcans. Job was completed same week as initial inquiry and looks great! They also offered to fill in some low spots in my yard with the dirt they removed. Very happy and highly recommend.

Contracted A.R. Construction to install a walkway and 12x16 concrete pad for a shed. I worked with Alex on the plans and quote. I found him to be very professional, knowledgeable and responsive. I was out of town when they poured the concrete, but he kept me updated on the progress and provided pics. They had to remove a section of the fence, but it was reinstalled and they cleaned up the site once complete.
I’m 100% satisfied, would highly recommend and will be using them again for some additional work after the shed is installed.

The pricing varies with square footage,jobsite conditions etc.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer ,I prefer to schedule a on-site meeting.This enables the customer to provide me with a visual description of what he/she is looking to get done .Also, having a visual of the area gives me better acces to accurate measurements for pricing and gives the customer a chance to make sure all of their questions are answered.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Concrete construction experience. Doing all types of concrete work.
Heavy equipment experience over 10 years.
Project managing experience and concrete estimating .
