I would highly recommend North Texas custom trim to anyone that’s looking for experts that can handle any task that you give them. Their willingness and flexibility to work with me has impressed me and I will be using them again.

We’ve all heard, “You get what you pay for.” Ruben & North Texas Custom Trim are not your cheapest “budget” carpenter, certainly cheaper options out there, BUT you will get crap results. With NTCT, you will pay a little more than the bottom of the barrel contractors but HOLY CRAP, in my experience, you get an AMAZING finished product. I was put in a pinch by my regular Jack-of-all contractor where he couldn’t commit to a start date and then I spoke to Ruben (via Thumbtack) and he was out later the same day to check out my trim project at my house (new finished trim throughout my 2.2k sqft house) and committed to being onsite 2 work days later. Asked questions I had not thought about, made suggestions I had not thought about and when he left, I had complete faith in him knowing what he was doing. He ended up finishing my trim job in one, instead of the possible two days! Again, HOLY CRAP, was I impressed with his quality and speed/efficiency with which he completed it. My favorite thing he did is the one picture I uploaded. Basically told him if you have a question call/text me but if you think you know the best thing/way, I trust your judgement. How he dealt with some rounded corners was one of those things I hadn’t even thought of and he just did it! Future carpentry projects, I already saved his number to use him on things I don’t have the know how or time to handle because I know he will rock it! I cannot recommend Ruben / North Texas Custom Trim enough. Expertise, speed, efficiency, quality, etc. are all A++! Ruben was great to work with. He was quick to respond and got the job done very quickly. He was also willing to work within our budget. He consulted with me every step of the way to make sure everything was how I wanted it to be. He and his partner finished in a very timely manner and were willing to work within my schedule each day.
