FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing depends on the event and the need. I am willing to work for an hourly rate or for a flat rate. I will sit down with you and figure out what will work for both parties involved.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely and Constantly! I attend other events, technology conferences, event expos and anything else I can find that might have a new or unique idea I could use in the future. There is nothing worse than putting on a stale event with the same things you have seen a million times before!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started to plan parties for friends while I was in college and I was fortunate enough to get into incentive travel and meetings after I graduated. My first large scale events were planning for a week long trip of 250 people. I had to plan their every move from dinner each night to activities each day. I was responsible for planning individual airfares, hotel rooms and transportation for each person for 6 days. It was a great experience! If 9-11 hadn't happened, I would still be doing it. Unfortunately, the industry took a huge hit in 2011 so I turned to marketing and more localized event planning.
