What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not complicated! $25 for 1/2 hour, $40 for full hour and $60 for 1 1/2 hours. Chair massage (usually done in a public setting) is $1 per / minute.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My license requires 6 hours of continuing education per year.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a 'gift' in being able to relieve a cramp or strain back in sports. My older sister and her husband are massage therapists and they kept telling me I should get some training and use my talents to help people. I finally took their advice and I'm glad I did!
