- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is always a TRIPCHARGE of $50 to go out to a job! A basic REKEY job is $25 per lock as long as the customer has existing keys to all the locks. Any lock without a key needs to be picked so there will be a NOKEYFEE of $25 to $50. Keys are $5 a piece. A lot of times I would walk into someones beautiful home & they would have the worst looking locks in the world. That's usually when the home owner is asking me if I have any brand new locks on my van. We usually both laugh & I say "Ofcoarse!!!" Since I'm already in the house I always wave the installation fee! Everyone is Happy Happy Happy!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I realize that my 1st impression is pretty much the only chance I'll have making that customer comfortable, letting me come to their house which is completely understandable! I've always been a people person & love the fact that I get to meet atleast 5 new people everyday! When I leave that house & I made a friend or just plainly made those folks happy then I know I did my job well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since this is a business working with lots of people, I have always weather it was a job or my own business, I loved working with lots of people & new ones everyday! That has prepared me for this line of work. I make sure I'm always studying new style locks & procedures in case I come across something very challenging so I can rest assure that customer is in good hands!
