If you're looking for your ideal photographer, look no further. For our engagement shoot, Rachel went above and beyond to make sure that everything was set up perfectly when we arrived and during the shoot. Even though the weather and location weren't fully cooperative, Rachel made sure the pictures still looked amazing and romantic. During the shoot and in the lead up, she was very responsive, friendly and had excellent attention to detail. She captured candids well but also gave us good direction when needed. Pricing varies based on the scope, length, and needs of each project. Starting rates for many services are available on my website, and I provide custom quotes for projects requiring additional coverage or deliverables. Travel, additional shooting time, or special project requirements may affect the final rate. I’m always happy to discuss your vision and provide clear pricing before booking.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by learning about your project, goals, and overall vision so I can understand exactly what you’re looking for. From there, we’ll confirm the scope, pricing, location, and scheduling. Before the shoot, I’m happy to collaborate on creative direction, shot lists, or other details as needed. After the session, I professionally edit the final images and deliver them through an online gallery within the agreed-upon turnaround time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my degree from UC Davis in Design, with an emphasis in Graphic Design, along with a minor in Computer Science. My professional background includes several years of experience in sports, commercial, event, and portrait photography. I previously worked as a Senior Content Producer for the Sacramento Kings, creating photo and video content in the fast-paced environment of professional sports. Since then, I’ve continued working independently with professional athletes, brands, businesses, and individual clients through Rachel Rose Media.
