FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Unless the interpreter works in the legal field in Texas, you do not need a license or certificate. Don't be intimidated by the Homeland Security wording. Look for someone that is neat, tries to copy the set-up of the original, gives you at least 3 original copies and gets your work notarized- even if it costs a little more. Take a few extra business cards, so you can pass them around if you were happy with the work. Word of mouth is how we get most of our work.
