We had a small granite remnant we bought at Seconds and Surplus.
We hired J's Granite to turn the remnant into a beautiful bathroom sink in our guest both.
J's did a great and fast job. Looks beautiful.
We are looking for two more remnants to that we can redo two other bathrooms. We would consider hiring J's again.

We contracted J's Granite to change our kitchen counters. They were very profesional at first. Gloria and her daughter came to see the project and gave us a very reasonable quote. They sent us pictures of the slab they found to match our existing granite island. We set a date for the installation.
They came that day and installed our countertops. My husband and I work during the day but had someone open and give them the check for the balance for the job. When we came after work to see the job we started noticing the issues.
First they did not do any of the caulking to finish the installation of the countertops. This was not mentioned during the quote. They did specify that the plumbing part in connecting the faucet was not included but they never said anything about the caulking. The separation between the backsplash and the granite was almost 1/2 inch. They had also left a piece of wood below one of the countertops with the sealant/glue underneath.
The one star isn't so much for the errors in the installation but in what happened next. I called Gloria by phone, texted her and attempted to contact her thru Thumbtrack with no answer. After a week when I finally texted her my suspicion that she was avoiding me she texted me that there was a death in the family and that was why she was not available. She asked me for some time to get settled in.
She never called me back. It has been 3 weeks. I attempted to call her several times but she had blocked my number.
I learned a very powerful lesson with this experience to never pay the rest of your balance until you see the job done.
I would never recommend this company to anybody. They supposedly pride themselves on satisfaction guaranteed. Well I was not satisfied with their job. They are not profesional and at the end of the day I feel scammed. We had to find someone else to fix their botched up job.
