I WISH Thumbtack allowed me to pick more than 5 stars and 3 qualities for them! I made this appointment last minute for my in-laws on the way to San Antonio. Believe me, I know I lucked out getting an HVAC company to come out with less than 24 hrs notice for a non-emergency. Brody was very thorough with his inspection of the air ducts, advised of what was needed to help get the rooms cooler, and recommended the seasonal unit check-up (without being high pressure sales). I messaged Rise Service Company as I had not heard back from a different company and they responded within 20 minutes. They provided options for service window within the next 6 hours. Devon showed up promptly to our scheduled service window to check our HVAC/AC unit which was not cooling. He gave us a detailed description of what to expect for our service window. Explained detail by detail with photos of what was contributing to our problems with our HVAC/AC unit. He quickly provided options to solve our issues within our cost range. The HVAC wasn’t cooling and a previous company I had called, came and never fixed anything. So I was already frustrated when I looked for new options. They were so responsive in all communication, polite, and were very human about the interaction. I have dealt with other HVAC companies that quickly get very salesy.
