My husband and I decided to elope. Going to the courthouse was impossible due to our work schedules. Mr. David was able to perform our ceremony even though he had to be somewhere else that afternoon. The vows he prepared were beautiful implementing God in the words since our faith is first and foremost. His property is peaceful and beautiful. David was absolutely amazing! Very prompt with communication prior to event and answering any questions I had. Very personable and easy to talk to. He sent over ceremony script ahead of time for approval. Day of the wedding he was on time and professional and officiated the ceremony perfectly. You can tell he is well versed in any wedding atmosphere and knows what he is doing. He is also extremely affordable compared to other officiants. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to stay as low as possible, yet competitive with my peers. My peers charge travel fees, consultation fees, fees for vows, fees for consultation. We can chat, we can pray, we can negotiate. I will stay as close to $200 as I can. Tips are always welcomed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll introduce myself and my services, check to see if counseling or understanding is needed then explain the ceremony and perform it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Pastoral Counseling with a minor in Theology. I have worked fulltime in ministry up until 10 years ago when I took a secular job to support my family. I am an ordained minister, but volunteer my services mostly these days with prison ministry.
