I contracted with Semper to install three new Nest thermostats in our new house. The technician from Semper arrived on time and had all three thermostats installed within an hour. We had walked down the street to a cafe, so he left it to me to program the thermostats using my phone. Unfortunately, I ran into a problem with one of the thermostats while programming and another technician had to be dispatched the next day. It turned out that some additional wiring had to be done to get the issue fixed, which involved another $180 fee. Things seem to be working Ok now, but it ended up being more expensive than planned ($420 total for about two hours of work) and involved two trips. They also did not assist with any of the programming, just straight wiring of the thermostats.
