Introduction: At Cypress Millworks & Design we have spent a lifetime doing one thing and doing it very well. As the world becomes more automated, skilled tradesman are becoming more and more rare. Many of the skills I learned as an apprentice are all but forgotten and are no longer taught. Having a skillset that was aquirred over a liftime, along with a heartfelt passion for what we do makes us stand out and it shows in our finished project.

Rob and his team completed a modern media center in our living room nook. I gave Rob ideas of what I was looking for via Houzz.com and he immediately understood what I was looking for and came up with the right design and suggested the right materials and finishes. The crew that came to complete the work were wonderful, professional, and efficient. They went the extra mile to clean up after themselves and ensured we were happy with the final product. We had a few delays as it took them extra time to match the paint. But they communicated to us the delays and explained they were trying to ensure the paint match was spot on. At the end it was. Would highly recommend Rob and his team again. In fact, we already have!

Without hesitation I would recommend Rob for any custom cabinets or woodwork. Rob recently built a custom kitchen island for us, which exceeded our expections, not only in quality, but in price, as well. We chose Rob over his competitors for a few reasons. First, he really listened to us to make sure he fully understood what we wanted. We went back and forth with photos of other islands that I liked, and we finally came up with a design that had the best characteristics of the other islands I liked combined into one. He offered his opinion on door styles, post sizes, etc., but was always happy to go with whatever we wanted. Second, his prices are more than fair. He was very transparent with pricing, which I appreciate. I never felt as though there would be added costs that would pop up half-way through the process. And third, Rob was always down-to-earth, honest, and was the kind of person we trusted and wanted to do business with. We were only putting in a kitchen island, not an entire kitchen of cabinets. A relatively small job for someone like him. But he never made us feel any less important than another client that might have a $20,000 job for him. We will definitely use Rob again for our future projects

All of my kitchen, bath and bedroom cabinets were done by Cypress Millworks. Rob listened to my wants and needs and was able to design and build the perfect additions for my new home! The cabinetry is absolutely stunning. Professional and timely and within my budget. I have friends who are envious that I found this jewel of a company first.

Rob built a beautiful custom kitchen for us, as well as custom closets, a library nook, a media cabinet, and various other projects. His artistic vision is fantastic and his quality of work is amazing.
