FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Always! Design and trends are constantly changing so I try to stay up to date by attending conference, classes, webinars, talking to other stagers, and of course - surfing. Pinterest, and Houzz are just a couple of my favorites.sdfs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Everyday is different! One day I will do a consultation in the morning, where I help prepare a home to go on the market. Typically consultations last 2 hours, and we look at everything from the curb to the backyard. That afternoon, I maybe moving furniture into a vacant house - transforming it from an cold empty house to a warm, inviting home. The next day I may be helping a couple redesign a home they have lived in for decades.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Have fun! Some home owners worry about the staging process unnessarily. Having a home professionally staged is the smart, stress-free way of selling a home. Look for a home stager that is professionally trained, has plenty of photographs and you are comfortable with. After all, you are opening up your home to this person, you should like them.
