Chris showed up when promised and removed an old fridge, broken window unit, etc. Things that are really difficult to get rid of yourself. It was nice to just point to an item that was too heavy and difficult to remove and have it disappear.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is based only on how much space the items take up in the trailer. 1 pickup truck bed full is approximately 1/4 of my trailer. We do offer discounts to Veterans, First Responders, and Teachers.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually when working with a new customer we ask for pictures. This helps us to fully understand what items are going to be hauled off and allows us to provide a more accurate estimate of costs associated with the removal.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started in the junk removal business after a 3 year stint at Apple Inc. I was burnt out from working with technology and needed a change. I liked what JDog has to offer and left Apple to work in junk removal. 6 months after getting hired the location I was working for closed down. I decided to buy my own franchise and have been doing this since the beginning of 2020 as my own boss.
