- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The price depends on size of the house/apartment, how often the client will need the service, what needs to be done, how long it hasn’t been professionally cleaned, etc. the price showed on Thumbtack is an estimate, first time cleaning or just one cleaning will be a little higher than normal. I prefer to see the house before giving a price, but it is not always possible, so the price that the prospect client sees on Thumbtack might not be final. It's an estimate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first time is usually a deep cleaning, and it can take a little longer than usual, and also will cost a little more than the regular rate. After 1st visit, I will set the price based on how often the client needs the cleaning services and maintain the client's house/apartment clean by performing general cleaning and making sure it doesn't get to a point where it needs such a deep cleaning soon.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked several years cleaning houses in my country (Brazil) since when I was a teen. I also worked as Operations Manager for the housekeeping department for a prestigious Hospital at The Woodlands under a contractor company managing an average of 40 employees.
