- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system depends on what I am doing for the client. Since our services could range from offering advice to actually managing a part of your business for you, the pricing varies accordingly. For clients on a budget, we even have group workshops that help them learn what to do and how to do it themselves. For clients who have more money than time, we can gather and manage a team for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly educating myself on the latest marketing tools and techniques. In addition to following all the top minds in the industry, I belong to Copyblogger's Authority group and am a Certified Guerrilla Marketing Coach.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started consulting because I had been traveling the world following a spouse. The idea of giving up on my career didn't appeal to me. Plus, I felt like I had a lot to contribute. So I started working with small businesses back in 2007. In the beginning, I would take small projects and just complete marketing tasks. But it felt like there was not enough impact in just using tactics without any strategy. So my services quickly evolved to more of a Marketing Director's role. And the results were much more impactful.
