About

In working with couples, my goal is to help you create a richer, more enjoyable connection than you may currently think is possible. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) which has a 75% success rate with couples. I also use EFT to help families strengthen their connections to each other. It is within our closest relationships that needs for being loved, receiving comfort, security, and companionship are met. Helping couples to strengthen their connection to each other has proven to me that the power of close relationships, including adult romantic love and marriage, can heal even deep emotional wounds. I use a variety of therapy types to assist Individuals, Couples, and Families with reducing suffering and obtaining greater happiness in their lives and relationships. I often use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients learn more about their experiences related to Anxiety, Depression, or Addictions. I support clients with exploring what truly matters to them and with taking action to achieve their goals! My wife and I jointly agreed that our marriage had gotten distant. We seemed to be too caught up in jobs and our 2 young children to consider the health of the relationship between us. We knew that our relationship could be improved, however we also had to admit that seeking a professional was the best way to do that. Having done some research online, we interviewed a few family therapists and in the end decided on Jesse at The Woodlands Center for Couples and Families. Jesse was able facilitate discussions, provide empathy for our situations and offer guidance on the next steps. Jesse gave both of us the knowledge and tools necessary to keep our marriage (and thus our family) not only together but healthy and evergreen. My wife and I are very pleased with the level of service and professionalism we experienced with Jesse.

I personally had an excellent experience with Jesse Moller. I had a family trauma which he helped very much in the healing process. Weeks later my husband and I attended couples therapy with him and after a few sessions we have not only understood each other and communicate better but we also got the necessary tools to overcome obstacles in the future. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$90-$125/session. Self-pay, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United HealthCare and Medicare accepted. Sliding-scale also avialable (limited availability).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with a free phone conversation to explore counseling related needs. During an initial session, I always perform a thorough assessment. Initial sessions are also an opportunity for me to get to know you better, and for you to get to know me. Session are usually 1 hour each. I generally recommend weekly appointments. I do offer evening appointments to help with your scheduling needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (#61456). I continue to engage in a variety of professional trainings.
