Piano Lessons
After just three lessons so far, I have learned so much from Tim. I commented to my wife that up till now I've been painting with just primary colors in my piano playing, and now with the jazz concepts Tim is showing me I'm seeing the infinite possibility of color variations. I'm getting just what I was looking for: someone to show me how to take my playing to the next level in creativity, technique and performance. Tim is very personable, easy to converse and work with--and still keeps me on the straight and narrow to play properly and with proper technique (less pedal!). He's also very accommodating with my schedule and environment, being a working father of three and a husband, juggling lots in schedule and in my house. Even over Zoom, our lessons have been very productive. I highly recommend Tim!

Piano Lessons
About a one month ago, I started taking lessons from Tim. I wanted to learn more about playing jazz on the piano and how to improvise. I have played classical piano for over 10 years, but always wanted to learn how to play jazz and improvise. Thanks to starting with Tim, he has greatly expanded my knowledge, confidence, improvising skills, and music theory just within a month. I highly recommend Tim if you want learn more piano as he has a great amount of knowledge and is very responsive and helpful. I always am looking forward to the next lesson I have with Tim and learning more.

Piano Lessons
Tim is the best music teacher I’ve ever had! He’s very knowledgable and articulate in his explanation whenever I come to him with questions. Tim always adapts quickly to student’s interests and abilities, easily pinpointing my areas of improvement throughout our classes. Tim is patient, responsive, punctual, and is generous with his time for students - he's willing offer advice after class as well if you are curious to learn! What’s more, what he demonstrates on piano always sounds nice and inspires me to learn and play more. Tim has good sense of humor too, which makes the classes fun to take. Overall it’s been a great pleasure to work with Tim and I give him my highest recommendation.

Piano Lessons
I have long yearned to play what I can hear in my head. Tim has quickly figured out what I need to learn and to practice, and after just 2 lessons I am already making great progress. He also is very patient with my questions and comes quickly to the answer I need. And he inspires me to practice! I will stay with Tim until my Carnegie Hall debut, which can't be far off now! Brad

Tim creates a systematic course-flow of piano lessons upon the needs, points of improvement and strength of his individual student. Aside from his deep understanding of music theory and performance, he also includes additional important topics which helps to develop a piano player's skill, knowledge and overall interest in music.
