We recorded my very first single. The hours were extremely flexible and the atmosphere couldn't have been more comfortable. The back and forth of ideas was incredible and no one tried to influence my ideas for my music in any way. All this truly made my song come to life!Mar 8, 2016Verified
I had the opportunity to work with Josh on the albums "Hymns for Selena" and "Family Devo". The sessions were a blast, Josh provided solid direction and opportunities for collaboration while recording vocals and guitars for those albums.Nov 21, 2014
Josh Walker and 150 Media House have successfully helped us achieve the goals we set for our band. As a cover band, our songs need to sound like the original records and as everyone knows, this is not always easy to do in a live environment. Josh was instrumental in crafting some backing tracks that has really taken our live shows to the next level. Each element or instrument he adds can stand on it's own and sounds great. We will return again and again to work with Josh. He's a great producer and musician and can really help you with whatever your musical vision.Dec 14, 2014
Josh is a fabulous bass player, producer and songwriter. I've had the privilege of performing live and in the studio. He's talented and easy to work with. I can't recommend him enough!Nov 19, 2014
Josh has been great to work with. He has really helped me bring the vision of my songs to life and thus helped me in creating my own unique sound as an artist. Not only does he bring his musical talents to the table, but his is extremely efficient with communication- which i've found is one of the hardest parts when working with a producer. His production always sounds full and rich- each element can be solo'd out and can exist on it's own. He doesn't take shortcuts and I appreciate that. He is very diligent when it comes to a specific vision and direction I have, but also brings his ideas to the table. Ideas for sounds, instrumentation and also lyrical and melodic arrangements. He wouldn't tell you- but he can sing as well. He wrote and recorded a hook for one of my records that sounds great. It is his diligence, work ethic, personality and talent that keeps me coming back to work with him.Jul 11, 2014
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My hourly rate ($60/hr) applies to any recording in the studio. I also mix and master music but that is not an hourly rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Interview me first, come see the studio, let's talk about your project so we can both get a vision of what it is exactly you are needing and wanting, and then let's come up with a plan together. You can easily schedule a free sit down with me at my website.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've also been a musician since I was a kid, and played in many bands over time.
