- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is simple: My home court, $60. I also offer a $10 discount for each lesson when you prepay and purchase a three or five lesson package, which I highly recommend for those with little experience. I am certified by the Texas Department of Education in Pedagogy (the art and science of teaching) which enables me to meet the standards established by the PGA.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Observation and patience is my strength. But with a beginner, I usually start with a lesson on putting and chipping to establish some transferable methods and fundamentals to the various types of shots. I follow this lesson with one on pitching, next the short irons, then long irons and fairway clubs, and lastly a lesson on driver. I offer an optional lesson on the golf course to address strategy and impart knowledge of course design.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Today with the internet it is not that hard. Additionally, I passed my State Board of Education Certification Exams in Pedagogy, which the art and science of teaching. A golf instructor has the experience and talent to shift through all the plethora of advise and fit it to the individual client.
