FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process I have with working with a new customer is the initial telephone contact, getting to know their expectations and a bit about their story. In doing this, hopefully a rapport is established. I present them with my information regarding fees, what my service provides, such as writing of vows, and establish our timeline. I like to reassure the couple that they are a part of the process, such as any changes they want to make to the vows. This is about them and they need to be happy with the ceremony as far as my part is concerned.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background is in education. I was a teacher and principal for many years in Mesquite, Tx. I have also presented workshops on customer care, presented storytelling workshops and presentations.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
A good friend, who is also in this line of work, suggested that I become a chaplain. He said that he thought I would enjoy it and he was right...I do!
