FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My firm uses transparent, value-based pricing, not hourly billing. Pricing is based on the scope, complexity, and level of support needed, so clients know the cost upfront before work begins. I don't offer discounts for rushed or last-minute work, but I do prioritize clients who value accuracy, proactive communication, and long-term relationships. All tax returns and projects are paid in advance, and monthly bookkeeping is billed on a fixed monthly fee so there are no surprises. If you're looking for the cheapest option, I may not be the best fit but if you're looking for a CPA who is thorough, responsive, and focused on getting it done right, you'll be in good hands.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I keep the process simple and organized: 1. Initial consultation to understand your business, goals, and current setup 2. Clear scope & pricing provided upfront 3. Engagement letter & payment before work begins 4. Secure document collection through my client portal 5. Execution & review, with clear communication along the way For bookkeeping clients, this often includes a review of QuickBooks, bank fees, and prior filings before we move into cleanup or ongoing work. For tax clients, I focus on accuracy first, then optimization where appropriate.
