- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find a lawyer with whom you feel at ease. Your legal problem will be stressful and emotional. Find a lawyer who keeps cool, and remains logical. Find a lawyer who is reasonable in the heat of battle, but whose eyes are open to reality. Avoid "true believers", who fight for a client's every view, no matter how ridiculous. Avoid those who promise too much, for there are no guarantees in law. Be prepared to tell the lawyer the truth in all matters, especially the awkward and damaging truths you would like to forget.
