Mr. Mace Is AWESOME! I mean it! I actually have no idea what I did to my computer. And then I made matters worse. Leave the youtube fixes to the professionals! I completely broke my computer. Here's what happened: I believe I downloaded malware/spyware. I youtubed all kinds of fixes, none of which worked, (but I tried them all-each making my computer worse). Then I finally got to a point where a reset had to be done, I followed instructions and got my computer where it wouldn't even reset. Now, here's what I did to actually get it fixed... I used Thumbtack to seek out a professional, and boy did I find one in Mace Computer Services! Within 5 minutes of posting my problem, he was on it. He figured out what was wrong with it and suggested a fix, and a possible fix. I went cheap with the "possible" fix, and convinced him to do this. We ended up having to do the full fix (his advice to begin with), which produced my computer in great working order. So, a word of advice: Save yourself time, and money, and just go right to Mace Computer Services. Mr. Mace is honest, hard working and achieves results and exceeds expectations. I honestly could not believe he did it at the cost he charged me. I certainly won by choosing this ComputerRepair God! (He actually saved and resurrected ALL of my work files). Save yourself time, money and a ton of grief by calling and talking to this amazing miracle worker. Thank You Mr. Mace!

Wow, what can I say! I truly enjoyed my experience interacting with Doug. My HP laptop computer had had a severely broken hinge that had warped both the bottom and the top of the computer's casing. Doug kept me updated throughout each step and tried his best to find the lowest prices on the two parts we needed to order. He was very patient, especially with a persistent person like me ha-ha, and he was very sincere and thorough with his repairs. I would definitely return and recommend him for any of your computer needs. I'm hopeful that the repairs he did will help my PC run for years to come!

My computer was fixed by the next day! A couple components were not on correctly, and Douglas not only corrected the issue and explained the troubles and causes to me, he ran tests to verify they were working properly. And all at a competitive price!

I had an amazing experience with Mace Computer Services. Doug was so professional, well informed and helpful. He was able to fix both of our computers...One a Microsoft Surface Pro and the other a MacBook Pro. I feel so confident that if I ever have another computer issue, that Doug will be able to fix it! Mr Mace definitely knows his stuff, he fixed my computer and help make the right decisions on what parts, pricing I needed to upgrade and repair my damaged system. He also was able to recover my CPU and my 2 GTX 770's which at first I thought was were ready to be trashed, he saved me from spending over $3000. (fyi iam a gamer)
After he finished it all cost me under $100.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$45 flat-rate fee, additional systems $15. This includes diagnostics, troubleshooting, parts and issue research, and repairs. Parts are extra but I make every possible attempt to find the best price and will not buy parts without customer approval. I also clean systems (laptop cooling fan and processor heatsink, desktop heatsink and cooling fans), and run any of the latest updates.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Finding out as many details as possible about the issue. Sometimes the answer can be gleaned from a few simple questions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
CompTIA A+, Network +, and Security+ certifications. Enrolled in CompTIA Continuing Education program to keep certifications up to date.
