- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Full Grooming: 0-20 lbs: $110-118 +tax 21-30 lbs: $120-130 +tax 31-40 lbs: $135-165 +tax 41-50 lbs: $155-195 +tax 31-50 Lb Doodles, poodles and other curly coats are charged $110/hr for full haircuts and price will vary depending on how long they take. Mini Groom (Bath + Face, Feet, & Sanitary Trim): 0-20 lbs: $100-108 +tax 21-30 lbs: $110-120 +tax 31-40lbs: $125-145 +tax 41-50 lbs: $145-165 +tax Bath & Brush: 0-20 lbs: $85-93 +tax 21-30 lbs: $90-100 +tax 31-40 lbs: $100-120 +tax 41-50 lbs: $110-130 +tax All services include bath, blow dry, brush out, ear cleaning, & nail filing. Matted coats and behavior can incur additional charges.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before booking, I will ask you some questions about your pet, such as size, breed, coat condition and how they react for grooming in the past. I will also ask for your address to make sure you are within my service area and to check my schedule for your area. I will then give you a price estimate based on your pet's size & breed. Additional charges can incur for matting and behavior. All pets must be current on their rabies shots and we will need you to send over their paperwork. You will receive a text reminder 3 days prior to your appoint for you to confirm. On the day of your appointment I will text you when I am about 30 minutes away. I will also let you know if I am running ahead or behind schedule. At your appointment I will look over your dog and we will discuss the desired groom and any additional services they may need.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been grooming for 13 years. Along with my initial grooming academy I have taken continued education courses in handling, dog esthetician certification, CPR and first aid and many breed specific training.
