Hi, I’m Laurie. I’ve been professionally pet sitting since 2020, originally building my business in Ohio before relocating to Valley View, Texas in 2024.
Over the last five years, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, chickens, reptiles, birds, and small farm animals. I’m experienced with medication administration and detailed care routines.
Before launching my business, I volunteered for four years with a cat rescue where I fostered, medicated, socialized shy cats, and assisted with TNR efforts.

Ms. Laurie has been an absolute joy. She took care of my babies as if they were her own, even making eggs for breakfast! She plays with them for hours and sends me the cutest pictures of the babies. I highly recommend her. 💛

She was great with our 2 big dogs who suffer from separation anxiety. Even brought toys for them. Just wish that she were closer.

Laurie helped take care of my two cats while I was out of town for a few days. I found her to be extremely dependable, responsive and easy to work with. She provided daily photos and updates. Will definitely hire her next time.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My costs, vary for cats vs.dogs, and number of animals. All charges start at $25, then depending on other factors, ie distance, animal breeds or size, etc. we will get your final cost. I typically add an extra $5 for gas, or extra animals, etc. I try to be fleet and fair.
All starting prices will go up based on the level of effort(distance &/or time on the job).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
They reach out to me, I respond & we ask & answer questions, usually through the app or text, then I provide them with a quote. If everything is satisfactory, we schedule a meet & greet so we can meet in person, including the animals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
6 years dedicated to pet sitting. Otherwise no formal training. I am looking into different certifications, including life resuscitation for animals, but I haven't signed up for any yet.
