Matt did a wonderful job of capturing the event and the guests!!! Thank you for your forethought of taking pictures before guest arrived and your professionalism. Although we running late you didn't sit around waiting on us, you were busy doing your job and a job well done!

I hired Matt to capture candid photos of my engagement, and I couldn't have made a better choice. From the get go he was responsive and thorough, giving me confidence that he was the right guy for the job.
Suffice it to say that there were quite a few variables involved (boat, shot distance, etc.) and on top of that Matt was traveling down the day of from a different city, but his experience and professionalism enabled us to navigate all of these different aspects seamlessly. Matt gave me a call the same day I posted my project and spent 30+ minutes on the phone with me discussing the plan and strategizing. The parts that really stand out in my mind include his thinking ahead to have multiple locations planned out where he could set up for the shot - this came in handy as we were immediately informed upon stepping on the boat that our first option was in a restricted area and we would need to change course. Matt's thinking ahead allowed us to easily adapt by sending a text that we would need to go to plan "B" instead. Another piece I appreciated was his "codified" text messages that he sent regarding his eta at the location and to let me know once he was finally in place. He crafted the messages to look like spam so that my fiance would have no idea that anything was up in the event she caught a glimpse of it on my phone. His approach with the messages was creative and very practical, but also added a bit of levity to the situation as it was a pretty hilarious aspect in recounting the event with others and made it feel like an undercover mission.
I could continue to go on about Matt/ the experience, but I think the highest praise I can give is that I came into the interaction with a very specific idea in mind but unsure of how to make it happen. Matt helped make that vision come to life, and at the end of the end of the day it came out better than I could have hoped for. I'd highly recommend Matt to anyone looking to capture a special moment.

We hired Matt to shoot a variety of different groups and poses at our family reunion. We were incredibly impressed with his professionalism and quality of his work - everyone in our family loved the pictures. Matt made the drive (hours) out to our family ranch to do this. Further, he was extremely responsive with questions we had. Lastly, Matt was very enjoyable to be around and patient as we had a very large group that was hard to wrangle at times.
In summary, I would highly recommend Matt for all of you photography needs.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices may not be the lowest but my service is some of the best. Each session has professional editing worked into the price, as well as access to an online gallery for life.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always talk with any client over the phone to see what the goal of their session is. If I know what you are looking for I can gauge what equipment to bring and what to look for. After we speak and the session is complete I will edit the images and post them in an online gallery.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied fine art at UT Arlington. I then moved on to work at a local camera shop for 3 years. Then I taught commercial photography for 7 years. While working in those industries I also photographed weddings and portraiture.
