FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We understand that every project has a budget. With over 16 years of custom woodworking experience, we've learned how to creatively adjust designs, materials, and construction methods to help maximize your investment without sacrificing quality. If you have a target budget, let us know. We'll work with you to find the best solution for your home and your finances.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process starts with a conversation. We'll discuss your project, your style, your needs, and your budget to make sure we're headed in the right direction. From there, we'll schedule an on-site consultation to take measurements, evaluate the space, and answer any questions. Once we have the details, we'll provide a custom design and quote tailored specifically to your project. If you decide to move forward, we'll finalize the design, build everything in our shop, and professionally install it in your home. Throughout the entire process, you'll have direct communication with me, the owner, so you always know exactly where your project stands.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My experience comes from over 16 years of hands-on custom woodworking and cabinetry, not just classroom training. I spent more than a decade designing, building, and installing custom kitchens, bathrooms, closets, built-ins, and specialty millwork. Throughout my career, I've worked with homeowners, builders, designers, and contractors on projects ranging from single-room remodels to luxury custom homes. In addition to my woodworking experience, I've worked as a construction project manager, giving me a strong understanding of scheduling, communication, and coordinating trades. I also use professional cabinet design software to create detailed, accurate plans before production begins, ensuring every project is built to fit your space perfectly. As the owner of Korbella Cabinets, I'm personally involved in every project from the initial consultation through the final installation, so you can expect expert craftsmanship, clear communication, and attention to detail every step of the way.
