The Copain Group did an extensive remodel of my house including the full kitchen, butler's pantry, powder room, and master bathroom. The work was excellent and I enjoyed having the Copain Group work on my house.

Contractor came out and over 2 weeks later he hasn’t sent a quote and won’t get back in touch with us even after multiple attempts to reach him.

I really didn’t want to write this review as I hoped maybe something personal happened and eventually Chad would reach back out. Chad has done two remodels for us. Our first was a rental that had pipes burst during the freeze. Though this job took longer than I would have liked I continued to put the blame on insurance. We did show up one day when the plumbers were there and without sounding disrespectful, it looked like these guys may have been picked up off the side of the road. With that said, cleanliness isn’t a sign of talent so I ducked my head and hoped it would turn out ok. We ended up needing a secondary plumber…as insurance needed details. Im assuming thats why the first crew left. The home was finished good, for a rental. There was unfinished plumbing, paint and a lock box left on the door but I eventually just hired a different crew. The next home was a home we were moving into, Chad came to quote me for updates but I never received an estimate so hired another crew. I really wanted to find a GC I could trust as I am novice to this industry so tried Chad again at a 3rd home. He had a few weeks in his schedule so agreed to complete the project. We worked on a budget and that is one thing I really love is he tells you exactly the price you will pay. Everything is detailed in his estimate. Chad also is fair in price and will discuss what things we as homeowners can do on our own, what things truly aren’t necessary as the properties are rentals etc. Chad left this job, a higher end air bnb unfinished. Plumbing, electrical, tile work undone etc. even within texts you will see him acknowledging these things. Tile work was garbage and unfinished, the plumber used galvanized pipes so we had rust and had to have a second plumber come out to fix their mistake. The water pressure was either too weak or the sink faucet will give you a bath. The backsplash was installed poorly and two different grout colors were used. The electrician did nothing but switch wires and install a low voltage bulb. Oh…and there is still a lock box on this house too. However, Chad will no longer respond. Im confused as to why. What did I do that could leave him unwilling to respond, to finish the work he was paid for? To want to work with us snd other investors in the future. I had literally just given out his name in a shared google doc where local investors input contractors. (His name has now been moved to the do not use list) I ran everything through my head even praying he not be ill with covid as nothing else makes sense. Whatever the reason, I’ve been out thousands getting the job finished and delayed two months getting this home rented. Chad if you are reading this please come get your lock box off our door.
