FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For jobs under $10,000, our pricing includes all materials and permits. Usually we can provide an estimate from your pictures, but if we need to do a site visit, we can provide you with a rough estimate first. For jobs over $10,000, we can provide a rough estimate, but a more precise estimate will require a site visit.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first step is to gain a thorough understanding of our customer's needs. For smaller jobs, if we have enough information from your initial quote request, we can usually provide you a bid right off your pictures and descriptions. If you have a larger renovation project, we can provide a rough estimate, but typically we recommend a design services agreement. With this agreement, we can create floor plan drawings and 3D "walkthrough" renderings of your project that will show you what your project will look like before we even build it. That way, we can rapidly make changes to the plans if you see something that does not work. The drawings will also allow us to estimate your building costs more accurately. We can then create a line-by-line budget for your material and subcontractor costs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are proud members of the Greater Houston Builder's Association. Mark and his staff regularly take additional classes and training in order to keep up with the latest code changes, style trends, and best practices.
