he came and gave an estimate and the next day he was back taking the tree down and stacking it like I requested. excellent job, friendly, professional. All around a GREAT company! I will definitely utilize them again in the future.

In April 2022, I contacted Arete Property Improvements (API), we are a military family and had just moved, we were getting our house fixed and getting mold out of our house and vents, when we realized that we now have trees on our property and they looked like they needed a little trim. So I went on Thumbtack and looked at reviews and info on treetrimming companies. I contacted a couple of people and got responses. But it was only Arete Property Improvements that responded with patience with my questions and they were courteous. So we made an appointment for them to look at our trees and see what can be done. Couple of days later, Arete Property Improvements arrived on time and started assessing on whether our trees need trimming, how much trimming, best way to go about it and what the cost would be. They explained it all to me, they were patient when I asked questions, they were courteous and polite in their response and their response was very informative. They gave me an estimate with a military discount added to it when they found out that we are a military family and that we had just moved to the area. We then scheduled a time for them to return to start on the job of tree trimming. On our next appointment they called me to let me know they were on their way and they arrived on time. They were quick and professional in their job. They trimmed the branches back from the power lines, got rid of any old or fallen branches. They cleaned up after themselves, cleaned our front and back yards from any debris from the cut or fallen branches. Before I knew it they were done. When I stepped outside in our backyard the feel of the trees were different, they felt like the wind can move better through the branches. It somehow felt more peaceful. I told them that they did a great job. They explained to me what branches were cut and why. The way they explain to me how the trees where trimmed and why reminded me of someone who was taking care of a bonsai tree, except on a much larger scale. Arete Property Improvements did a wonderful job on trimming the trees on our property. I give them five stars and A++ for a job well done overall experience. Thank you Arete Property Improvements, we really appreciate the wonderful job you did with our trees.

We had a wonderful experience with Brandon & Nick! They truly listened to what we needed for our front & backyard trees. We’ve been looking for our “tree guys” for a few years and have been disappointed in the past when the trimming didn’t match what we were looking for. Well, we have found our guys!! Bought a new home with a eyesore in the backyard. Very high tree that needed to be removed and wasn't sure of the vendors in the neighborhood. Yes we are a business. But we are, first and foremost, men of God who have hearts to help. If you are struggling but need work done, we don’t shy away. We always try to have reasonable prices but are also not afraid to cut rate to help a neighbor in need.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always give free estimates. Once a price has been agreed upon and sealed with a handshake, we schedule the service.
