Introduction: Students tell me that I "break down" what appear to be very difficult ideas and make them easy to understand and work with I really enjoy when I can see that a student has "got it". I can see in their eyes and in their attitude that they have struggled through something and now understand it.

I attended classes at Southwest Institute of technology where Mr. Cochrane is a teacher and tutor. He explains each piece of a process in detail. He is also very good at explaining why a process is done. When it came to me not understanding a problem or wanting to touch up my grade, he offered excellent after class tutoring. My grades significantly improved when I attended his tutoring session. He is an Outstanding Teacher and Tutor.

Larry Cochrane was my instructor at my school. If your looking for some one with great experience look no farther. He goes into great detail, and is very informative. He made math very fun for me. He also uses real life examples to help you solve the problem. He is also very friendly and very bright.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I worked in the electronics manufacturing field for many years doing many different types of work. While doing this I often found myself explaining how these devices work and what needs to be done to build and make them usable. I discovered that I enjoyed explaining things as much or more than the creation of the devices. Because of that I decided that I would teach and tutor.
