I had the pleasure of working with Jim last week at his studio. His patient demeanor and professional eye make him a breeze to work with. He really listened to what I needed and also made insightful suggestions.
I needed professional photos for my Yoga website and he delivered excellent quality photos within a incredibly quick turn around. The session itself was engaging, fun and easy. I felt totally at ease and comfortable working with him. And, as a result I got great shots and love all of them!
Now the hard part....picking which amazing photos to use for my website!
Jim is fantastic and he'll make you, or anything else he points his lens at, look fantastic too.
If I could give him 6 stars, I would!!

Jim Stone has been honing his incredible talent for photography over a lifetime of exotic world travel. His work has long been an inspiration to me as a traveler and a friend. Jim has an incredible eye for capturing the essence of a moment. His inherent good natured likability translates easily into bringing out the inner light of his subjects. His degree of professionalism allows him to only accept the highest quality results of his work. I'm so glad Jim has finally decided to transition his world class talent into becoming a professional photographer. His work has already been bringing so much joy to so many people over the years, as evident in his impressive portfolio. He's truly a natiral talent who has become a master of his craft.

Jim has done many shoots for me and my loved ones. Recently he did some professional head shots for me that turned out wonderfully.
I have had the opportunity to see Jim's work evolve over the years... from hobby, to people, to landscapes, to artistic shots, to commercial endeavors. He has an incredible perspective... one that completely captures the subject, but with his unique skew that just "pops" it. Besides his raw talent and vision, he has mastered the technology behind the craft. Make no mistake, Jim is a craftsman, one with passion, talent, and discipline. His demeanor is friendly, engaging, comedic, and fun. I generally hate to pose for pictures ... truly. But he is someone with whom I can lose my self consciousness and trust him. He has the ability to capture something that is beautiful about you that you've maybe never seen before. What could be better about Jim is that I know he gets better every day... the picture you take with him today will be fantastic... but 1, 2, 10 years from now will just be even more epic.

I recently contacted Jim about needing a headshot. He replied right away, and he was accommodating and flexible in finding an appointment time that week.
I arrived at his studio for the shoot. His studio is clean and comfortable. His equipment was already set up, and he had a few ideas of shots we could try that I hadnt thought of sounded good to me! Jim is really good at describing to you how to stand, move your head, etc (hey, Im no model, so I dont really know what to do in front of a camera!) He is a really nice guy and fun to be around, so it seemed like we were done in just a few minutes.
A few days later Jim emailed me the final edited shots wow! I was more than impressed with the final result. No complaints here - I will definitely be contacting him again, and will be sending friends his way. If you want someone punctual, professional, laid back, super talented, and fairly priced

Jim is a phenomenal photographer. He manages to achieve things with his camera and angles that no one else can or does. You can see for yourself in his portfolio! Furthermore, he's extremely personable and great at making people feel comfortable around him. I recommend him without reservation.
