I hired Wilks Trees LLC for a deep cleaning and paid $400 based on what they advertised. What I received was sloppy, incomplete work that did not come close to a true deep clean. Bathrooms were still visibly dirty, toilets were not properly cleaned, floors had grime left behind, and multiple basic areas were clearly skipped. I have photos to prove it.
When I respectfully confronted the owner about these issues, instead of taking responsibility, she became defensive and upset. She claimed she felt like she was “working under pressure,” which is completely untrue. The only thing I asked for was an ETA, so I could head home and be there to pay her promptly once the job was finished.
She confirmed via text that the job was completed, and I paid her immediately. I did not rush, hover, or pressure anyone. I trusted their confirmation and expected the service that was advertised and paid for.
Rather than acknowledging the poor quality of work, the owner shifted blame and made excuses. Despite the obvious lack of a deep clean, they only refunded $100 out of $400, which is unacceptable for a service that was clearly misrepresented.
Wilks Trees LLC does not honor what they advertise, does not handle customer feedback professionally, and does not stand behind their work. If you value honesty, accountability, and a real deep clean, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
All photos were taken immediately after the service was completed and confirmed by the owner. Payment was sent right after completion was confirmed via text. These images clearly show that the work provided does not match what was advertised or paid for as a “deep clean.” This review and the photos reflect the condition of the home exactly as it was left by Wilks Trees LLC.

This home was in significantly neglected condition prior to service, well beyond what is typically considered a standard deep clean. There was years of heavy soap scum buildup, extreme grime in the bathrooms, and bio-residue on surfaces that required manual scraping, including areas not normally addressed in a deep clean. These conditions substantially increased the labor required to meet the expectations expressed after the service.
We accommodated same-day service, drove approximately two hours each way, and completed the job while short-staffed to help the client on short notice. During the cleaning, we were repeatedly asked every few minutes if we were finished, and there were children actively present and moving around our work area, which further slowed progress and limited efficiency.
Payment was requested only after we confirmed completion, and at no point did we refuse communication. While we did issue a partial refund as a goodwill gesture, we do acknowledge that our mistake was not performing a more detailed pre-inspection and clearly stating upfront that the condition of the home exceeded a deep clean and would require additional time and pricing to reach the level later expected—particularly given the condition of the bathrooms and areas not included in a standard deep clean scope.
We stand by our effort, professionalism, and willingness to accommodate on short notice. We also continuously improve our intake and inspection process to avoid misunderstandings like this in the future. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify the circumstances surrounding this service.
