What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a master gardener, I am required to take 6 CEUs each year. I usually take closer to 20 keeping up with the newest topics in gardening. Because I understand the industry, you do not have to waste your time educating me. I have also taken courses from American Writers and Artists, Inc. (AWAI) on copywriting, writing for B2B, and writing for the web.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I specialize in the garden industry but do write for other businesses. I write articles, blog posts, online content, optimizing web pages for SEO, emails, autoresponders, e-newsletters, white papers, case studies.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be clear on the goals you have for the written piece you are commissioning. Different goals dictate different treatments of the same subject matter.
