According to my sister, Brent was a really nice person. She worked hard but then at the end would not take the money she was owed. She said this was her "good deed for the day"& did not want to accept any money. My mom, made her take $25 as they felt like she earned her money plus a big tip.
Sadly, this turned my sister off having someone come help her clean. She felt like Brent thought she was a pathetic person for having an unclean house & she felt judged. I tried to console my sister stating that I am sure Brent was truly trying to serve & do a good deed. This was about Brent & not about my sister. Still, she felt pretty bad after Brent left.
Sadly, no good deed goes unpunished including my wanting to help my sister by hiring someone to clean her house.
