In Texas, when your air goes out, you need someone fast. I called at 3 pm on a holiday weekend and someone was here working on the problem in two hours. The next day I got a new system, including the outside unit, furnace, and even new duct work.As it turns out, the home builder didn't do the right thing when building the house, and the unit kept freezing up. I had a dozen AC people look at it. No one could figure it out until Glen and William came along. If it hadn't been for them, I would have gotten a new system and it would have kept freezing - because behind the scenes - a place no one had looked - the builder had made the air flow duct work smaller than it was supposed to be to cut corners and make the original unit fit. If I had not of trusted my instinct and chosen Allstars I really can't imagine what I would have been in for.If you need experts and you want a fair price, fast service, and great communication, this is your company. I know far more than most when it comes to ACs now! And Glen called just to check in on me a few days later - and even threw in a few upgraded thermostats and filters. Can't say enough good things - Joli

Glenn saved the day for us. Our A/C stopped blowing cold air during the day and we weren't able to call someone to help until the evening. I called and he was so friendly and helpful.Once he got to our house under 2 hours later & he was both professional and honest. He told us what we needed and also what we could add on to ensure our system would last many more years. We liked that he never pressured us and explained/showed us everything he was doing.I would have given five stars except his parts prices were way higher than if I were to just buy it from Home Depot. It's the disadvantage as a consumer of being in an emergency situation and needing someone to fix something ASAP...you pay for it.

Glenn and Allstars live up to their billing as All Stars.Consider my story: It is the middle of the summer in Dallas. Temperatures are 100. Saturday at 3:00 pm my air conditioning goes out. I have a six-month old child, and I am wondering, What am I going to do? I call a couple of places, and they all tell me that they are full and that they maybe could get someone to look at the unit by Monday.I find Glenn and Allstars and see that they have great Yelp and Google ratings. I all Glenn at 3:35pm and text him pictures of the unit. (Keep in mind that I live in a 100+ year old house with odd nooks and crannies and other people said that it would be impossible to replace the unit without demolishing my existing wall)Yet, Glenn and his crew and no problem.Amazingly, by 8:30pm on Saturday, my house was cooling off. Amazing work guys!

EXCESSIVE OVERCHARGE!!!I was very ill at the time my A/C went out and since this company was right down the street, I thought it would be a safe bet to have them repair my unit. The issue was that the motor in the handler went out and I was informed that it would be $850.00 total to replace the motor. Well, I received a notice from All Stars informing me that the motor was under warranty and he could replace it first thing the next morning. I said great, go ahead. Well his son came and replaced the motor and was here for approximately one hour and charged me over $850.00. Remind you, he told me it was under warranty. When I called him and asked for an itemized bill, he got testy and told me that we were neighbors and that he took care of me.Well, he didnt lie about taking care of, because he damn sure did! I figure that I was overcharged to the tune of about $700.00. I think $150.00 is more than sufficient for one hour of labor.

We are sorry for any misunderstanding, however we do give prices upfront before any work is done. When this work was done in 2020 the entire World was going through the Covid 19 pandemic. Very few businesses were open and even fewer parts were available. We did exactly what we said we would for the price we quoted. Your variable speed motor and computer module for the motor was available but just like I explained we were charged an opening fee from the manufacturers supply store and had to pay extra for the essential employees and fees incurred. I'm sorry you feel you were overcharged but I told you what the price was upfront and explained the process to you and you said go-ahead and get it done as quickly as possible. We did everything we said we would and you waited a year to write this review. Again I apologize for not responding sooner.
