What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish customer understood that most carpet cleaners pay their technicians heavily on a commission basis. This is important because I pride myself on focusing on what the homeowners needs are and by nature am a low pressure type of guy and I refuse to run my business after this industry standard. Also, I would tell customers that carpets are more complex than other types of flooring in many ways and the cleaning methods (i.e. equipment and how the equipment is used) will determine how deep and how well the cleaning of the carpets shag will be.
