Introduction: Hello, my name is Eric Harmsen. I have been in the piano technology industry for 22 years. I am passionate about the piano, and making pianos sound and play their best. I have experience in the piano technology industry and the music industry. My music is available to listen to on Spotify, Apple Music, CD Baby, etc. I am a graduate of North Bennet Street School in Boston, MA, in Advanced Piano Technology, and the University of Utah in Music Composition. I also earned my Master of Music Degree in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music. I was employed at the Mason & Hamlin Piano Factory in Haverhill, MA. I was the Piano Technician at Wichita State University, where I tuned and maintained more than 200 pianos, including 4 Concert Grand Pianos, and tuned exclusively at Weideman and Miller Concert Halls. I have also been trained at the Steinway and Sons Piano Factory in New York City. I have tuned pianos at concert venues, homes, restaurants, hotels, for movies, etc. “Eric I finally got a chance to really play my piano with its new conditioning. I'm getting all kinds of clarity and color from it that I didn't get before. I really appreciate it. You're great.” I have the experience and credentials to rival any other technician in the area. I have tuned pianos for Bobby Vinton, Peter Breinholt, Andrei Ponochevny, Peter Mayamoto, Marc Cohn etc. and would be honored to tune your piano.

Piano Tuning

Eric was excellent at his job. He is definitely a craftsman. He knew what my piano needed. I will use him again. I now love to play the piano several times a day.

Piano Tuning

My piano sounds amazing, like I've never heard it before. It's old and will need some further adjustments, but for now I'm really pleased. Sounds incredible.

Piano Tuning

Eric did a fantastic job tuning our piano. He took time to show us how to best take care of and maintain our piano. We'll be having him do an annual tune our piano for several more years. Thanks for great service!

Piano Tuning

Eric was awesome. Our piano was really out of tune and he spent the time necessary to both tune and pitch raise it. He explained what he did and why, and also explained what we could expect going forward. He also suggested that we should have other services done, and he wasn't pushy about getting those scheduled. All in all, A+ service and we'll be using him again.

Piano Tuning

Eric is efficient and effective. We had a little glitch getting together the first time but it wasn’t anyone’s fault and he did a pitch raise till he could come back for the fine tuning as rescheduled. The piano sounds great. I’ll use Eric again—a professional in skill and demeanor.
