FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do line item bids before the start of each job, therefore the customer can see the item with a cost associated with the item. This helps everyone involved to verify the items included and those that are to be determined, or that something was missed. It helps us out as much as it does the customer, so that the project goes as planned.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Onsite bid, discuss timing and project duration. Job deposit is required to begin the project. If job is scheduled out for some time, we request a small retainer to put the customer in the schedule. Therefor the customer is in line and we do not jump customers in the schedule. Payment process and job details are gone over so that all parties are on the same page. Management of expectations is critical for a successful project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Home builder for 20 plus years, but enjoy remodeling more (it is more involved and we enjoy the challenges). Served on the board of directors of the Home Builders assoc. for 5 years, chaired the ethics comity for builders and remodelers in Utah.
