I have a Bachelor's of Science in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Missouri and am a Certified Personal Trainer and Weight Management Specialist with the American Council on Exercise. If you are looking for a trainer and or coach LOOK NO MORE. I came to Utah for six weeks from California. I had a mindset that I was going to get my mind body and soul in shape after the COVID-19 pandemic. I jumped on Thumbtack my first few days in town and Katie reached out to me right away. She was patient and professional and answered all of my questions. I’ve been working out with Katie almost every day six days a week for five weeks. I’m pleased to say I’ve lost over 6 inches total and I’m feeling and looking better than I have in years. Katie has definitely been one of the best things about my trip here in Utah. I will be disappointing and sad to have to say goodbye to her when I go back to California. Thank goodness for online so we can continue working together. I’m more than happy to write this review and if you’re reading this do yourself a favor go with Katie you’ll be pleasantly surprised what a little bit of hard work and a good coach can do. I've worked with Katie for over a year now, I've always tried to reach my fitness goals by my self and have worked with other trainers. They are always the same, "eat more chicken and rice" for every freaking meal. Katie's approach to flexible dieting has allowed me to live my life while reaching all my goals. Not only has she helped me reach those but she has helped shape my perspective about fitness and my relationship with food and my own body image. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. She changes lives.

Katie is an excellent trainer and fitness professional. She doesn’t waste your time with the typical “secrets” and gimmicky fads you see in this industry. She tells you like it is, which is what I needed. More trainers and nutrition professionals need to follow her lead!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    When you work with me, you have choices. For a little bit of guidance ($25): I offer guides with an easy to understand breakdown of the science behind weight loss and how to get started. For a one time consultation ($50): Have specific questions? Let's have a one hour phone call all about you. I'll get you set up with macro recommendations and a meal plan, as well as answer any specific individual questions you have. For weekly accountability ($300/month): My most popular option by far. You're looking for someone to check in with you multiple times per week, go in depth during appointments about education and what applies to you, to be your own personal problem solver. This is the option for you. My job is to look at your life, decide what potential pitfalls you may have, and what the solution is. I am a professional problem solver.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    When you start with me, you should expect education. The first week together is meant to be a learning experience. You are learning from the education guides I send you as well as the 2 hour first time meeting we have going over these guides. I am learning about you: your goals, preferences, habits, and needs. We are growing together to help give you the best program and experience possible.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I love my work. That's why I keep learning about it. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Nutritional Sciences and a Minor in Psychology from the University of Missouri. I have been an ACE (American Council on Exercise) Certified Personal Trainer since 2013 and obtained my Weight Management Specialist Certification from them in 2019.
