We hired the team from Silver Tree Woodcraft to put a large dining room table back together after we moved it from our previous residence to our new home. Absolutely recommend Silver Tree Woodcraft. We had them install floating shelves and a door. The door actually turned into a much more challenging project than we had thought, but Luke adapted and got the job done. Definitely plan to hire him again on future jobs.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't charge anything for a consultation, but once we settle on a rough estimate then I require a 50% non refundable deposit for purchasing materials. I am workable on the price of something if people have a budget they are trying to work with.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will ask a few questions to understand exactly what the needs and expectations are and then will send out a rough estimate. Once we've agreed on an estimate then I will get a deposit for materials and put you on my build list. I provide a 3D Drawing with most projects so that nothing is missed and they will be able to see what it looks like in scale. Then we will build and keep you updated all along the way. Then we schedule delivery and you enjoy.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have done commercial framing for five years and then worked at western timer frame in lehi for another 5 years. All the while increasing my skills and ability to turn wood into functional pieces that will endure longer than I will.
