I’m finishing my basement and needed 2 heat runs, 1 transfer grill, and bathroom exhaust. Zeb was able to give a competitive bid based on my pics and description. He came out as scheduled and determined the needed scope of work. After assessing, he advised me that I didn’t need to extend my trunk line like I thought thus saving me $225. He is very thorough and takes pride in his work. He even redid my return air duct that wasn’t installed correctly by a previous tech. I’ve always been a fan of self employed guys like Zeb, rather than the big chain type of places who notoriously try to upsell you to cover their overhead. If you’re looking for a competent, experienced and trustworthy tech, look no further.

Zeb was always quick to respond, and good at communicating. He gave me an initial quote when we first spoke. And that’s the exact price I paid - to the dollar - when we squared up at the end. He came by prior to install to visually double check everything, get a list together of what he needed, and offered great advice on the different options for placement of the mini-split unit, trim options, materials, etc. His workmanship was great, he paid attention to detail, he was always on time and gave me an exact ETA when he was on his way, and ultimately did what he said he was going to do. He brought drop cloth to keep the things inside near the work area clean and protected, and even cleaned up before he left. He walked us through the features of the unit, made sure we knew about important operation and maintenance information, and even got the warranty registered for us same day. I could tell he took pride in his work. From all of the quotes I got for the same job, conversations I had, and research I did, the job has been done to spec/code and definitely inspires confidence in me as a customer. His quote was the best we had received, and the choice in unit has been satisfactory so far - looks good and performs well while being nearly silent. It couldn’t have gone better honestly. Working with Zeb was like working with family though we had only met less than 24 hours prior to install. He did things the way I would do things for my family and myself (when compared to working on cars). Basically, I felt like I was being treated like family. Nothing felt over-sold or pushed, and he always shared his honest opinion. Just felt honest from start to finish. Again - it couldn’t have gone any better. If you have any reservations about going with EZ Heating & Cooling — put them aside. At least get on the phone with Zeb and see what he has to say, because you don’t run into honest and quality work at an affordable price very often.

We have a shed that we converted into a gym and had a mini split installed on. The team was super responsive and quick to get everything up and working.
