We asked Amy to help with our new home design. We asked for help beacause we were so overwhelmed by the choices. We didn’t know how to take the ideas we had and tie them all together and have it look decent. Amy met with us and we instantly felt better. She is patient, oraganized and flexible. She helped us take our ideas and make it a reality. I would absolutely recommend her!

Amy is amazing! We had struggled to incorporate our unique style into our new home that has high traditional character. Amy did a great job understanding our style, then providing ideas and suggestions to blend the strong (built in) character with our style. We had a lot of fun working with Amy and will work with her in the future.

Studio Kohler helped us design and furnish our basement. The service provided exceeded my expectations! I was allowed to give my own input and received expert advice on the best way to incorporate my ideas into the finished product. Amy was flexible and patient as we navigated through each stage of the design and build. I would definitely use her again!

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Initial consults are $175. That includes meeting for 60-90 minutes, project overview and an in depth design brief. We can sign contract and get to work that same day! I mostly work for an hourly rate. But I have standard room pricing for an e-design / self-fulfill service. Please contact me or see my website for available pricing or a quotes.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Set up an initial consult in person or on the phone. Do an in depth design brief that gives an overview of the project, and helps us to see if we would be a good fit. We decide together on the terms of our work together, sign an contract with a retainer and get moving on the project!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have studied design for many years, majored in Graphic Design and Art History in college. Worked as an artist, and then switched over and began working for a prominent Interior Designer in my area doing large scale new construction projects. And since have branched out on my own and now serve my own set of clients doing projects large and small.
