About
I teach vocal skills across all styles, focusing on healthy vocal production to last a lifetime. I teach breathing, posture, focus, flexibility, range, and more. I specialize in classical, broadway, pop, folk and spiritual. I have a bachelor's of music from Brigham Young University. Call me for an appointment! I absolutely love it when a student has worked on the things I have asked, then comes in for a lesson, we put those skills to work, and their eyes open wide with surprise at the wonderful sounds coming from them. Hearing their improvement, watching their delight as they produce beautiful sounds, and seeing their confidence grow exponentially with skill is pure delight.

Marleigh expertly diagnosed my voice's weaknesses and poor habits and gave me vocal exercises specifically to fix them. My voice became much stronger in only a few weeks. The lessons were fun and relaxed. I enjoyed picking vocal selections that I wanted to sing and getting to practice multiple vocal styles. I would definitely recommend.

Vocal coaching for my teenage daughter. Marleigh was enthusiastic, positive and professional. My daughter LOVED each week, and was sad when it was time to move on.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Bachelor's of Music from Brigham Young University, with a focus on vocal/choral education. I have trained privately with luminaries such as Jenny Babbige from the Met, and have had the privilege of singing under the baton of Mack Wilburg, current director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
