This is going to be a long one so if you don't want to read just take my advice and use Kim for your dog training needs. She is amazing. I had never used a trainer with my dogs in the past because they seemed to take to training easily. Oslo (my first experience with a blue heeler) taught me quick how stubborn some dogs can be. He has some serious SERIOUS energy that, if not burned off, lead him to being destructive and unruly. Don't get me wrong, he is very smart and learns quick but he needed some extra help. I chose life is pawsible simply because of the reviews and prices. We went on vacation and decided to try Kim's board and train option. It was only for a week but WOW! What she was able to accomplish with him in that short time was amazing. She gave him a great foundation to start from and his entire mentality towards training has changed. He loves to learn and have a "job" and Kim showed us how to get him to that point in his life. She does great with the dogs but also is extremely attentive to how the owners need to change their approach as well. Oslo leaned some very very useful commands that have helped me out so much. I'm so greatful that I took the chance on life is pawsible. Her reviews speak for how great she is with a large variety of dogs and since working with her I have found out that she is dedicated to her profession and does so much more for the community. Choose Life is pawsible, seriously, it's worth it.Mar 5, 2019Verified
This was for boarding, I don't know anything about her training. The house felt chaotic, I'm pretty sure she never really got any attention. My dog came back covered in poo. She smelled worse than I've ever experience my dog smelling. I was told that at some point my dog peed in the crate, which means that she was in there too long. My dog doesn't pee in the crate... In general I just don't really feel like it was that good of a service. I don't intend to go back. I think it's probably safe, and it was pretty cheap. However, like I said, I wouldn't feel comfortable letting them have my dog again.Dec 25, 2017Life is Pawsible's reply
I am really sorry you feel that way. I let the dogs run and play outside in my backyard nonstop. In the mornings going through the round of dogs to let them out sometimes one gets a little excited or can't hold it quite as well and has an accident. I apologize for your dog being a little dirty but we were in the middle of moving and I did not get to clean your dog up. The dogs play and run hard at my house. They spend very little time in the Kennels. I usually have three to four different rounds of dogs that go out. While one round is out playing of course the other rounds have to be in their kennels. And I do kennel them at night.
Kim boarded my puppy for 5 days on short notice. She was priced fairly especially since it was a holiday weekend. She had other puppy's to play with mine and her house was clean. Luna came home smelling clean and fresh too. I will use her again if I can.Jan 3, 2017Verified
Kim is amazing with dogs! Which is good because she is a dog trainer, but she is terrible with humans. She expects a lot in a short amount of time. while taking her class at pets mart she gets extremely distracted with other clients or other things in the store when she should be training. It gets pretty frustrating. She needs to learn how to manage her time better.Feb 14, 2016Verified
UPDATE!! Kim has definitely done her part to make amends and turn this entire situation around. We have made a new agreement, she has issued a refund to me and she has started to work with my dog again! In the short time she's trained him so far, he's shown progress. She has been great at taking the time to listen to my concerns, reach out to check on us and has completely gained our trust back. I am very happy for the opportunity to be able to work with her again. I not only approve this message, but I would also recommend her!! THANKS KIM! Kim was hired on for 12 sessions. I paid her in full, upfront. She completed her first session and within 10 minutes into the 2nd session, she said that she needed to take my dog into her board and training for a week. She took my dog and when he was to return, made excuses as to why she couldn't bring him home. She kept him for an extra week because of these excuses. Board and training was paid for on top of the 12 sessions. Once he was home, we quickly realized that he WAS NOT TRAINED!!! She advised us to buy him a shock collar as well as to use his kennel as punishment. She has Not completed the rest of the sessions that have been paid for, claiming that she put a lot of time into him. She has also not returned my calls or refunded my money. 12 sessions at $420.00 and she's kept every single damn penny of it without looking back. Kim has taken no accountability for ANYTHING and has been more upset about me questioning her integrity. She has flat out said through text: sue me if you need. I have spoken with others who have had similar experiences, so I am not the first, nor will I be the last. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS BUSINESS!! She does not care about your time and obviously about keeping her customers happy. I referred someone to her who paid upfront for board and training which should've ran for 3 wks. Kim had the dog for almost 6 wks and it was returned UNTRAINED and quite ill. I would NEVER recommend her services to anyone. EVER.May 24, 2019Verified

- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have always loved animals ever since I was a kid. I rescue everything from horses to Birds to dogs to cats, even some reptiles. I was introduced to training when I was searching out a service dog for my daughter. I then started working for an organization that trains service dogs.
