Introduction: Positive, stress-free training means no e-collars. Welcome to a truly positive training experience for dogs. And dog owners. Our mission is to train your dog in a loving, accepting way—everything from the most basic obedience steps to intensive therapy/service dog training and certifications. Puppy Training Puppies have blank slates. And it is important to reinforce the behaviors you want on that slate. We help the puppy process be less frustrating. Obedience/Behavioral Training Dogs learn by association. So creating the right associations are important if you want an obedient dog. As certified instructors, we use positive reinforcement and redirection techniques to teach basic commands, such as waiting at the door and loose-leash walking. It’s the same idea with behavioral training. Using the same techniques, we work on issues your dog is struggling with, such as aggression, coming when called, jumping, chewing, biting, running off, barking, and going potty. Therapy/Service Training It’s amazing how a good therapy or service dog can change the quality of a person’s life. A therapy dog will provide great comfort and therapeutic support for people in general hospitals, children’s hospitals and the elderly. Service dogs perform tasks that a person can’t perform because of a disability. A disability may include blindness, PTSD, autism, or anxiety, among other inflictions. We have years of experience in training therapy and service dogs. Each service dog program is tailored to the needs of what tasks the service dog will be required to do. Board and Train If you’d rather leave the training to us, no problem! Use our board and train facilities, where we keep and train your pet for you. Choose from beginning obedience to intensive behavior modification and everything in between. It’s up to you. As the mother of a beautiful daughter with a developmental disability, I feel a rare connection with both service and therapy dogs. It’s what gives me the passion for what I do. I have more than five years of experience training service/therapy dogs. And more than seven years of obedience training, in both private and group settings. I have trained trainers and pet owners who want to train their dogs. I am a certified CGC (Canine Good Citizen) evaluator for the American Kennel Club. This includes STAR Puppy, Community Canine and Urban Canine Good Citizen recognitions. A Passion for Training I admit it. I have a soft spot for rescued dogs and their owners. But what I really love is seeing the transformation of ALL dogs with their owners. I love seeing the smiles on the faces of the owners as they watch their dogs progress through the training. I love hearing the stories from the owners who are no longer scared to take their dogs on walks, or to be around other dogs or people. It’s those moments that keep me doing what I love to do.

I have a Blue Tick Hound. Hounds are known for being difficult dogs and they are. Within two sessions my dog doesn’t react to chickens, she hardly pulls on the leash, has greatly improved her recall, and is learning to to wait at the door instead of bolting out. It was incredible to see how the trainers worked with her and taught me. They are very patient and kind to both animal and human. My goal is to train my girl to be a service dog and it’s going amazingly!!

Details: 1 - 2 years old • Large (41 - 70 lbs) • Private lessons • Therapy or service dog training • Leash pulling • Barking • Chewing • Destructive behavior • At the pro’s location

We've been having issues with 2 of our dogs getting along so I sent both of them to Kim! They went for 1 month to do a board & train and they have came home with such different attitudes! Theyve both learned so much, we can't have them around each other freely quite yet but we should be able to get to that point here soon! They are so much better pups with better manners. Definitely recommend Kim at life is pawsible!☺

Details: 2 - 10 years old • Large (41 - 70 lbs) • Private lessons • General obedience training • Leash pulling • House training • Barking • Digging • Chewing • Destructive behavior • My home, venue, etc.

I was having some aggression issues with Dozer, my English Bulldog. Animal control got involved and pressured me into surrendering him. They said he was a danger to the public and needed to be euthenized. Since he had never bitten anyone before I felt like he deserved a second chance. Luckily I found Kim who literally swooped in and saved the day! I enrolled him in the 30-day K9 training bootcamp. She sends me weekly updates on my dog's progress and always responds to my questions in a timely manner. She went the extra mile by contacting animal control on my behalf and had a lengthy conversation about the type of training Dozer will be involved in. She went to bat for me and literally saved my dog's life. 😭

We recently moved and the dogs were unruly and misbehaved. One of the dogs had troubles going potty outside since we no longer have a yard. In just three visits our dogs were less anxious and Luna was fully potty trained again. I’m able to integrate them socially with other pets and people now. I highly recommend Life is Pawsible if you’re having behavioral problems with your pets. Kim and Gale have been great to work with. We will recommend them to friends and family!
