About
With 30 years in the construction industry, I bring strong carpentry skills and an eye for design to every project. My team and I specialize in framing, trim and molding installation, and deck or porch remodels and additions.
I’m a perfectionist who never cuts corners. I communicate clearly, get your approval at each step, and don’t leave until you’re completely satisfied. Most of my work has come from referrals because I deliver quality craftsmanship on time, for a fair price, with no surprises.
I truly love what I do, and it shows in the finished product. If you’re looking for reliable, detail-driven carpentry work, I’d be glad to talk about your project.

He was very upfront with price and did an excellent job on our porch hailing. It really looks amazing. He had the best price for what we wanted. My porch looks beautiful.

Highly recommend Eldon. Had him demo and frame a room, hallway, and multiple doors including my garage door. He was professional, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. He took the time to answer my questions and went above and beyond. The quality of work was excellent, and his pricing was very fair. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a reliable and skilled framer.

This is a difficult review because it should be separated into 2 separate reviews. Eldon who did the trim in all of our windows & sliding glass door, the shiplap on a very tall wall & gave us the estimate did a great job. We’re very happy with the suggestions he gave, the detail of his work & the finished job. With the exception of 2 small baseboards that were replaced at the bottom of sliding door, but don’t really look that good Eldon responded quickly to our questions & concerns. His value is good considering the quality of his work. The only reason we would rate him a 4 is because the job was completed later than we were told & expecting. We would use Eldon again for any trim work or if we were to install new flooring.
The second part of the job (paint) is what we would rate a 3. The painter is nice & gave us a small discount which was later negated when he said he was not aware of having to paint the small shiplap section in the basement. We paid for the paint & he charged us extra claiming not to know about the job. His work was decent but not excellent. We had to tell him & his helper to touch up the caulking that was missing in some windows & there are some areas in different windows that appear to need more paint or where the paint is a little dirty. My husband & I will do the touch ups. Also 4 areas in the shiplap needs paint, this wasn’t apparent till the paint dried.
The worst part is that the job ended up being completed 2 weeks later than we were told. He showed up late, 11 to 12 on most days. But he did stay late till 6:30 to 7 pm. On the last day he stayed till 8 pm because he needed to get the job done since we were not going to be around for a few days. He told us the day before he finished the job that he was late in the mornings because he had to drop off his kid @ the babysitter. It would have been nice to know this in advance. We could have used another painter but didn’t since Emerge Builders included the paint job. Overall we are happy with Eldon’s work, but if you’re on a tight schedule you might consider using someone else.
Details: Drywall • No, I will need the carpenter to provide the molding or trim • This is just an installation job - no design needed • As recommended by carpenter • I would like it painted

The owner of Emerge Builders (Eldon and his crew), did an absolutely amazing job on my deck and pergola for such a great price for such quality of work! I would recommend his craftsmanship work to anyone! He is very skilled and goes over all the details and quality products that he uses. He knows what he is doing!

HIRE THEM! JUST DO IT! We got screwed over in the most extensive way possible last year. I have been so nervous to hire someone to finish the job (and fix a lot too). Trust me... don't even look anywhere else. They are always on time, communicative, and fairly priced. Their work is PERFECT! I originally hired them to install a new front door and after that basically handed over the reigns for the rest of the house. They will be coming back after we refinish our floors and I will update with photos when all is done. So grateful to have someone with actual work ethic!

FAQs
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I show up open minded, very willing to give my advice on any project and help through the design and build process, very willing to listen to what they want and design the project to what works best for them and inside the budget they have set for the project as much as possible.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started in construction 25 years ago. I have been self employed doing it for about 18 years. I have done all types of framing metal a wood, drywall, tile, hardwood floors, laminate floors, base casings shelves, decks, full additions, basements, remodels. I do prefer to do finish carpentry and hardwood and laminate flooring and decks now but still happy to venture back out into all other projects.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have had a very broad range of customers from all walks of life, enjoyed working with all of them. some much more aware of exactly what they wanted, many not sure but I gave them many different ideas until they found one that they felt worked best for them and their situation, and budget.
