Introduction: I have over 25 years of experience studying the human body/mind complex. My background in nutritional healing, and my experience teaching natural healing gives me greater insight into how and why the body is functioning the way it is, and how we can speed up its natural healing processes, relieve physical and emotional stress on the body/mind, and remove blockages to experiencing total healing. I love that feeling when I am able to assist someone in relieving a chronic problem, or get them out of acute pain, where they may have had no success at all in treating before. I love seeing the peace and relief that comes over them when the pattern of pain or discomfort is gone. I love that huge smile on their face when they experience their own healing miracle.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always studying... aromatherapy, BodyTalk, nutrition, and other massage techniques. i add to my toolbox constantly. It also helps to keep on top of things when I am in the process of opening a massage school, and we have to make sure our curriculum is constantly up to date with the latest research, legislation, and techniques.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been in hotel management for 20 years, and in alternative medicine for 25 years. I decided about 10 years ago to "marry" the two and become a manager of a spa or wellness center. I was told I had to become a massage therapist or an esthetician, or both, to manage one, so I signed up for massage school... and loved it!
What types of customers have you worked with?
The most requested treatments are for Swedish and Deep Tissue massage, and for EFT or BodyTalk therapies. I also get asked to teach classes on plant-based nutrition a lot.
